This is a classic, double sterling collar, woven linen shaft hunt crop. The silversmith is F. Narborough of Birmingham, England, and the hallmarks indicate 1939. The stitched, pigskin handle is mahogany color & has a beautiful shine. The notched, stag horn, hook end is about 5” long & also has a nice patina. The crop is 28.5” long from the hook to the end of the keyhole, stitched keeper, which we replaced. This is a well balanced crop that is both lightweight & substantial. It is a piece of hunting history that can be enjoyed in the field today.
