This nice old vintage (1930-1940?) gold wash stockpin features a detailed fox head and a horseshoe that are artfully offset on a long bar pin. It is unmarked, but the style of the clasp and the horseshoe (bars pointing downwards) indicates its approximate age.
This is a nice, large pin (3” long) that can accommodate a thick, cotton stock. While certainly gender neutral, its large size makes it a good selection for a man. The pin has some slight gold color loss appropriate with age & use, but this does not detract from its vintage charm. The stickpin closes securely with a simple pressure clasp.
