This beautifully detailed, 9 kt gold hunt whip/horse shoe stock pin is accented with little seed pearls. It was designed & made by Pierce & Thompson, in 1900 or before, in Birmingham, England. I believe it may have had a full thong & lash at one time. The pin is just under 2” long & the fastener is 1 1/2” long. It closes w a simple “C” clasp. The long keeper end of the whip is hollow & has a tiny bend, so this pin has been priced accordingly. As with all antique jewelry, it should be handled w care. This one may be better suited for a lapel than the hunt field.
