This is a large men’s case in excellent vintage condition. The leather is excellent quality and the fine stitching is in great shape. It measures 6 1/2” x 5” x 1 1/2”. The leather has a beautiful patina and is free of all but minor blemishes and has only a narrow sweat mark at the bottom back side. It is probably a Swaine case, but it is unmarked.
The single hinged Britannia Metal (a bright silver colored pewter alloy) case is marked by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield, England. It has their trademark bugle & banner and a pull ring. It has only mild signs of wear.
This quality case at this price is really a steal!
