This Sterling silver horse shoe ring is approx a size 7.5. In addition to its obvious significance to any horse person, the horse shoe has long been a symbol of good luck & prosperity.
This horse shoe ring is both small enough for a woman & masculine enough for a man. Although there is no way to accurately date this piece, we estimate it is circa 1930-1980, primarily because the shoe displays an even number of nails on both sides. Most Victorian horse shoe jewelry had 3 nails on one side of the shoe & 4 nails on the other.
