This red enamel, horse and rider tie bar is probably European in origin. It appears to be gold plated and there is wear to the plating consistent with age and use. Nonetheless, the striking, red enamel is in excellent condition, making this a very attractive vintage tie bar. We estimate it is circa 1920-1960. This style tie bar can also be used as a small money clip.
