The photos do no justice to this piece. The cobalt blue enamel is stunning - way more brilliant than in these pics. This 9 kt gold locket has the same beautiful design on both the front & the back. It has solid construction & comes with its original domed glass photo protector. It has a few tiny places where the enamel is thinning, but this is not apparent without a jeweler’s loop. Without marks, it is impossible to accurately date, but I believe it to be 1920-1960. It measures approximately 1 1/4” long, 7/8” wide & 1/8” thick. It is an absolutely beautiful piece.
