The strap & buckle motif carved into the bone, hook end of this long, antique hunt crop makes it a one-of-a-kind. The 4” hook has a dimpled sterling end cap and a narrow shaft collar. The fruitwood cane shaft is lightweight, straight and “keeled” to rest in the correct position in your palm. It is 3/4” wide and suitable for a man or lady. The shaft is 29” long (& 33+ with the original loop end.) It is in very good condition, only showing minor signs of wear consistent with age & light use. It would be perfect for side-saddle or could be shortened to carry astride in the hunt field. It would also make a great collectible & decorative addition to any sporting decor.
