This antique beagling whip is 9" long & appears to have its original keeper & thong. The staghorn end has been skillfully carved in the form of a hound's head whistle, which works well. The hound has hand blown glass eyes - one of which is slightly chipped (see photo). The unmarked, silver metal collar has a geometric pattern & a blank cartouche, ready for engraving. The cane & carved end have a lovely patina. This whip is in excellent collector's condition.
