These spaniels are 1930-1940's era, signed, Frankart, brass (perhaps over white metal) bookends in excellent condition. We gave them a minimal polish, so the spaniels' coats are glowing. The photos show off their beautiful patina. As they are substantial, measuring 5.75" x 7" x 3.25", these bookends can corral tall or heavy books. These handsome spaniels would be perfect for any desk, library or mantel.
