These sweet little ruby & amber vases* feature a beautiful hunter following a foxhound, giving chase. They date circa 1900-1940. The design is in sterling silver, in a cutout pattern, and has been deposited directly onto the glass. We believe the vases are American, because the design is marked, “sterling.”

The hunt scene is on both sides of each vase, wrapping around it. These petite vessels, at 5” tall and 4” wide, are perfect for a single rose or a trio of small to medium sized flowers

Please note: the hunt scene on the back side of the ruby vase has suffered silver loss, in keeping with this vessel’s age & use. We think this adds to its vintage charm, but point it out in case you might not agree. The amber vase is completely intact.

Use a cream style silver polish when cleaning these vases or a jeweler’s cloth, and be gentle. Do not put vases (or any antique glass or china item) in the dishwasher.

* These vessels may have started life as a cruet set, although we think vases are better!

** If you are interested in both vases, we can sell the pair for $75. Just call us to confirm & pay by phone, as our system is not sophisticated enough to handle this option by computer.
