This pin would look great with scarves, on a coat lapel or on a hat. It could also be used as a stock pin, as it was originally designed to decorate a ladies detachable show shirt collar, “back in the day.” However, some hunts frown on decorative stock pins, so be sure to ask before you take this lovely item out hunting with you.
This lovely vintage pin probably dates from 1940-1960. The horse head crystal is balanced on either side by full cheek snaffle bits. The setting appears to be silver, but it is unmarked, so could also be silver plate. It measures 2 1/4” long by 7/8” wide.
