Sweet peas in a pod are made of pearls and entwine a Lucky Seven nail horse shoe. The pin itself is a hunting whip, complete with thong, all in 12 kt gold.
Peas in a pod have always symbolized the unity of family or friendship. The horseshoe, of course, represents good luck, and is facing with the bars down to awash the wearer in good fortune.
The stock pin is 1 7/8” long. The stick pin is 1 1/2” long and the pin is made of a white metal, perhaps steel or white gold. The stick pin closes securely with a C clasp and a safety latch.
The placement of the horseshoe tells us this is a pre-1950 design and the safety latch makes this likely to be a post 1910 piece. The pin is marked “k12”.
The peas make this stockpin a unique gift for a mother or a BFF who enjoys hunting and/or fo a fox hunting gardener.
