Rose gold is on trend & the simple design of this lovely pin also makes it a classic.
Unfortunately, the British gold hallmarks are so worn that they are difficult to read. However, it tests as 9kt gold. Based upon the style of the shoe (lucky 7 nails), the decorative embellishment at the toe of the shoe & the style of the pin catch allows us to date it between 1890 to early 1900’s.
This is a very nice, solid piece that any rider should appreciate. And don’t forget that decorative stock pins can be enjoyed every day w a scarf or on a lapel. It measures just under 2” in length.
